Archdeacon Peter Scott has served as a Priest in Niagara for over 20 years. He is presently the Incumbent of St. Mark’s, Orangeville. Previous to his ministry at St. Mark’s, Peter was the Incumbent at St. James, Port Colbourne (St. James & St. Brendan’s) and Assistant Curate at St. Luke’s, Burlington. He received his Master of Divinity from Wycliffe College in 1995 and was ordained in that year. Peter was made a Honouary Canon of Christ’s Church Cathedral in 2006 and Archdeacon of Greater Wellington in 2009. He has served as co-leader of Niagara Continuing Education, a leader at the Niagara Youth Conference for a number of years and he served on the Congregational Support and Development Committee. During Peter’s ministry at St. Mark’s there have been four Assistant Curates and a number of students. A Deacons and a Honourary Assistant have supported the ministry of St. Mark’s along with very supportive lay involvement in all aspects of the church’s ministry in the Orangeville area and within the Diocese of Niagara.
